The Workshop Gallery is founded by Outofstock design studio as a space dedicated to their passion for handcrafted objects. Working with master craftsmen in Singapore, Japan and Europe, they design objects in numbered edition, each imbued with the age-old skills of these artisans.

The small batch production is a reflection of the time needed for a ceramic piece to be perfectly sculpted or a vessel of glass to take its intended form, for the forest to replenish its trees so wood can be sustainable, and for the patina of your using it to continually create beautiful leather, copper and brass objects.

We want everyone who steps into the gallery to feel closer to the creators and the process behind every object, and realize the influence this aspect has in changing the larger consumer culture.

Instead of ready mades, The Workshop Gallery runs on small batch production orders, where a minimum quantity is met before the crafting begins. The model signifies an understanding between the craftsman and the buyers: that high quality handmade products only come about with time and care. The intentional pause in the usual pay-and-go situation allows room to respect the tradition and process of crafting. More than just finished objects, it's about keeping the process honest and honoring the craftsman work approach as well.

We process the orders weekly. Advanced orders are made with payment in full. These orders are tabulated and once they reach the minimum batch quantity, we will place the order with the craft workshop or factory. Sometimes, a limited edition is produced and we have items readily available. In this scenario, we aim to deliver all orders within 28 days from ordering.

For products that are damaged, broken, smashed on arrival, please email us within 48 hours and we will replace the goods at no cost, once we receive the faulty product. We will charge postage and packaging for the replacement good's delivery. In the event that the damaged product is the last piece available, a full refund of payment will be made to you.

Each piece of furniture or object is carefully made and packaged. However, should you find the product arriving faulty within 30 days of delivery, we will replace the faulty component free of charge. We will charge postage and packaging for the replacement good's delivery.

For replacement of bulbs, we will direct you to the retailer Righi bulbs so that you may order for your future needs.

All copper and brass products are designed to achieve a natural patina over time, should you prefer the product to regain the original lustre, we can advise you on the polishing techniques and materials you can buy to polish them.
